Come join me for a day of creativity and fun at The Fumbally Stables in Dublin 8
Spend some time learning the basics of block printing with hand carved stamps from India. Learn how to print on fabric using traditional Indian blocks, experiment with lots of different patterns and colour combinations before creating your own block printed textile. When you are all done printing you will learn how to turn your printed fabric into an Azuma Bukuro or Japanese Market Bag. This bag is fabulous for knitters and crafters, for holding bread, flowers, shopping at the market. It is an ace bag to make and so easy.
No experience is required and all materials will be included with the workshop fee.
If you have your own sewing machine but haven't used it for ages, bring it along and I can show you how to use it.
