Get some ink under your finger nails this summer!
I have about 50 Indian wood blocks just dying to be used to print fabulous fabric panels.
If your thinking “I’m not really that creative” then let me change that thought with you!
Block printing is ridiculously satisfying. It’s meditative, slow and the results can be electric!
All you need is yourself and your enthusiasm.
I’ll have everything else on hand.
Situated in the beautiful and very large hall at The Fumbally in Dublin 8, there is plenty of space to print and create whilst maintaining safe protocol during this challenging time.
We will spend the day printing two large panels of Irish Linen/Cotton.
You can use these pieces to make something for yourself in your own time. There will be a large selection of color dyes specially for fabric.
I will take you through all the steps to print your panels. Your panels could be a wall hanging if you don’t have a project in mind. There are endless pattern choices to be found even using one block.
Here’s the important stuff.
Workshop runs from 11-4 with a 40 minute lunch break.
I’ll have some small bites and refreshments for you but you might need a little something more substantial for yourself.
I will have spare face coverings or you can wear your own. In the interest of everyone’s health we are required to wear one.
Workshop cost: €110 all in, bring nothing but yourself and your creative visions 😃
I look forward to welcoming you to my creative world!
